With over 15 years of experience in enterprise integration architecture and systems development, Martin brings a rare combination of hands-on technical depth and big-picture systems thinking. Before joining Soap Labs, he spent close to seven years as Senior Integration Architect at Platform24, Sweden’s leading digital healthcare platform, where he was on the ground from the very beginning. As a primary architect, Martin took the platform from a blank canvas to a mission-critical system adopted by 19 of Sweden’s 21 healthcare regions. His seven-year tenure was defined by the rare challenge of not just building a product, but scaling it to meet the rigorous demands of nearly an entire nation’s healthcare infrastructure.

But Platform24 is only one chapter in a career defined by solving some of hardest interoperability challenges in highly regulated industries. Martin has been at the center of the Sweden’s digital health infrastructure, building systems that connect providers, enable customers to access their records, and allow data to flow securely across regional and national boundaries. He architected API platforms on top of major EHR systems, built integration frameworks for Sweden’s national health account, and developed the order portal connecting consumers and producers of medical data on Sweden’s national service platform.

What makes Martin exceptional isn’t just the breadth of his experience. It’s his ability to operate across the full stack while never losing sight of the architecture. He’s equally comfortable writing frontend code as he is designing microservice architectures on Kubernetes, and he has a deep understanding of building enterprise platforms in highly regulated industries that few developers possess.

At Soap Labs, Martin channels that expertise as a Founding Engineer, helping build our next-generation AML platform from the ground up, bringing the same rigor and integration mindset that shaped Sweden’s digital healthcare infrastructure to the complex, data-intensive world of anti-money laundering.
